Wait for reply pauses an automation until the guest responds or a timeout passes. You can send a gentle reminder when time runs out, or branch to a different offer when they do reply—essential for two-way SMS nurture without someone watching the inbox all day.

This step works well for booking confirmations, feedback requests, or promo follow-ups where a guest might reply YES or NO. Each path can carry its own message and next action.

Add Wait for reply on an SMS step, set the timeout duration, and build separate branches for timeout versus replied. Test with your own mobile number before sending to a live segment.
