The link-by-sale flow works when your POS integration provides sale IDs myne can match, so backfilling spend onto a profile is straightforward instead of a manual workaround. Linked sales feed the same profile history, groups, and automations as card-attributed visits.

Use the link-by-sale option on the guest profile or staff tools where your brand exposes it—often after Lightspeed O-Series is connected. Enter the sale ID shown on the receipt and confirm the profile updates before you message the guest about their points or balance.
