What is Business accounts?

Business accounts are part of myne. They are company records for suppliers, partners, and wholesale relationships. Each account holds the contacts, notes, and activities for that business, and the teammate who owns it.

Overview

Business accounts extends myne beyond individual customer profiles so teams can manage organisations, venues, buyers and other B2B relationships. Each account can hold linked contacts, locations, activity and ownership context, creating a cleaner foundation for wholesale and service-provider workflows.

What you can do

  • Manage companies as well as individual customers

  • Link contacts, locations and B2B relationships

  • Track wholesale and trade activity on business profiles

  • Use Journeys and Tasking for account follow-up

Data synced

  • A business holds company details, an owner, an address, contacts, notes, activities and tasks

  • People on a business are contacts. A person who visits or shops stays a customer

  • One contact can belong to more than one business. Only one contact is primary

  • Support has no Ordermentum article, so buyer import is not confirmed there

How it works

  1. Turn on Business accounts under Settings, then Integrations. Tasking turns on with it.

  2. Add a business and link contacts. Mark one as primary.

  3. Use the account for tasks, journeys and business groups.

Full setup steps: Introduction To Business Profiles.

Requirements

  • Active myne account with Business accounts enabled

  • Business and contact data to import or create

  • Agreed account ownership and field structure

  • Team permissions configured

Limitations

  • Turning this on labels the people directory Contacts instead of Customers.

  • Marketing Coordinator roles do not see Businesses. You need CRM access.

  • Support does not document Ordermentum creating these accounts.

FAQ

Is this only for wholesale?

It is for organisations, venues, buyers and other B2B relationships. Wholesale is the common hospitality case.

How does Ordermentum fit?

The public Ordermentum page says buyers can become business accounts and contacts. Support has not published that setup.

What can sit on the account?

Company details, an owner, an address, contacts, notes, activities, files, tasks and journeys.
