OpenTable is a restaurant reservation and table management platform. A customer books a table online. The venue uses OpenTable to manage covers, seating, and who is booked for that service. OpenTable includes online reservations, a table plan, and a record of who booked.

OpenTable provides restaurant reservation, table management and customer marketing tools. Connected to myne, reservation information can add intent and occasion context to a customer profile, while broader visit and spend data can support more relevant customer recognition and follow-up.

Diner name, email and phone land on myne customers
Reservations, including upcoming, cancelled and no-show, land on the customer timeline
Email opt-in follows the dining-offers checkbox on the booking, not OpenTable’s own platform emails
When a customer already linked to OpenTable is updated in myne, those details can update on OpenTable
How it works
Arrange Sync API access from OpenTable for each restaurant.
In myne, add the restaurant: location, Restaurant ID, Partner API OAuth client ID and client secret.
Choose a historical period. That period is based on when profiles and reservations were last updated, not every booking that happened then.

FAQ
Does this replace our reservation book?
No. OpenTable stays the reservation system.
Can a booking and a later sale share one profile?
Yes when a POS or ordering connection is also live and the customer matches.
